Open the crack into a slight V-groove and remove all loose particles, dust, old paint, and debris. Lightly dampen the surface with clean water without leaving excess moisture.
Stir Crack Shield thoroughly before use.
Using a putty knife or steel spatula, press the material firmly into the crack to ensure complete filling, then smooth the surface to achieve a uniform finish.
For cracks deeper than 5 mm, apply the product in multiple layers, allowing 4–6 hours drying time between fillings. Apply each subsequent coat only after the previous layer has dried completely.
Allow the repaired area to cure for 24 hours before sanding lightly (if required), priming, and applying the final paint or decorative coating.
