Pre-Construction: Fill brick joints with mortar, apply Silane Spray, then 2 cross coats of Shora Shield.
Post-Construction (Renovation): Remove damaged plaster, apply Silane Spray, then 2 cross coats of Shora Shield.
Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, salts, loose particles, grease, oil, and other contaminants. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and structurally sound before application.
Stir Shora Shield thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved before application.
Before applying Shora Shield, fill all brick joints and gaps with cement mortar to obtain a uniform and sound surface. Once the mortar has cured, apply Silane Spray uniformly over the surface. Then apply two cross coats of Shora Shield using a brush or roller, ensuring complete and uniform coverage. After the second coat, allow it to cure for a minimum of 24 hours (or until the next day). Then apply one coat of cement-sand mortar using a paint roller to create a textured surface for better plaster adhesion.
After removing the damaged plaster and preparing the surface, apply Silane Spray uniformly over the exposed masonry. Allow the Silane to penetrate and dry as recommended. Then apply two cross coats of Shora Shield using a brush or roller to form a continuous waterproof barrier. After the second coat, allow it to cure for a minimum of 24 hours (or until the next day). Then apply one coat of cement-sand mortar using a paint roller to create a textured surface for better plaster adhesion.
Allow a minimum drying time of 24 hours between coats.
Do not expose the freshly coated surface to rain, water, or excessive moisture for at least 24 hours after the final application. Ensure the coating has completely cured before carrying out any further finishing work.
